Seldom does one get to write a letter such as this one. Two weeks ago I
decided after 20 years to start riding again. A family member recommended
your store in Media to me so I took a ride over to the store to check things
out. When I walked in I was amazed at the selection. I spoke with J.R.
whom my family member recommended I speak with. I must tell you that a more
pleasant person than J.R. will be hard to find. I explained to him that
because of back issues I have not ridden in 20 years and that I was looking
for a bike that would be comfortable for me to ride. J.R. took his time
with me and spent 2 hours just helping me try different bikes on for size.
Not only that but we talked about my budget and other requirements that I
had. The whole process was a pleasure and it went smoothly. I wish more
businesses had people like J.R. because it would make life more pleasurable.
Once the purchase of the bike was finished J.R. introduced me to Grace and
Tonda up in the store. Again, more great people. Because of these two
individuals my shopping experience was a very pleasant one. I envy you
because you have such a great staff in your organization. Please believe me

"I have been going into Hannum's in Chad’s Ford for the past three years. I was going to buy a bike back in 2005 and was hurt on the job. Once I recovered in September 2008 I started test riding bikes, I bet that I tested out about 5-6 different models until I finely picked out my 2009 Road King. Terry from Chad’s Ford was my sales agent and he was great. I took out bikes for several hours each time and was given the opportunity to get more than a quick test drive. I never had a chance like that at other dealerships to just take out a bike for the day and test it out. I had such a wonderful experience at Hannum’s HD in Chad’s Ford I bought two bikes. One for my wife, a 2009 XL 883L Sportster, and got an un-believable deal.

"I recently had an accident on my Lowrider. And I had Hannum's do the repairs. I also was under some pressure to have the bike ready for our Vacation in the Smokey Mountains. I am very pleased with the service from the Mechanic and Matt at the service desk. Matt assured me he would do everything possible to have the bike ready for me.

"On the Millon Mile In (1) day event my Heritage Softail wouldn't start. Called Hannum's in Media..and within 10 minutes one of their trucks showed up and the mechanic got it running!!!!Met up with the rest of the group to help HD make not (1) but over 3 millon miles in (1)day!!! "Back in Dec./04 i contacted your dealership about a front wheel for my 04 Night Train which i wanted but couldn`t find in Canada as it was a discontinued wheel. After searching half the dealerships in the U.S.A. i came upon Hannum`s and they just happened to have one. After making sure it was the right one to fit my bike i had them ship it DSL transport. I had it within a week and had it intalled but had to wait for spring. Come April 1/05 i had a stroke and a brain anerism and just barely pulled through. Anyway i haven`t ridden it yet but your staff was great making sure it was right part and it got shipped to me as quickly as possible. I sure wish i could work at a dealership like yours."

"I bought my first motorcycle at the Media location about a month ago. As a new rider, an interested, knowledgeable and helpful staff is everything. In month #1, I stopped in and Paul told me how to get started with the MSF Basic Rider course and provided me with contact information. I took the course the next month and then popped in and out of the dealership several times to get some ideas of what kind of bike to purchase. In month 3, Roxy helped me with an initial "fitting" to give me sense of what I might want to be looking at as a rookie. A week later (now month #4), Paul reconnected with me and I ended my day with a new Sportster 1200C. No pressure, plenty of time to test-ride and get comfortable...it was actually a relaxing experience! A month into my purchase I stop in for accessories and get great help everytime. The bike fits me, and I fit the bike. When I stop in to buy accessories or just kick around, I'm treated as warmly by the sales staff as when I was a near-term purchase prospect. They take an interest in my progress and make me feel like I'm walking into a true family establishment, always addressing me by name. It's the little things that suggest to me how a business handles the big things; and with so much riding on my ride, I appreciate it all. After explaining my interest in a used bike I was shown my choices. I was never pressured into a sale that I did not want to make which was unusual for a salesperson. "I purchased a new 06 Road Glide from Hannum's on 2/28/06. I had a problem with my brakes from day one, Hannum's has signs posted how important their customers are, anybody can put up a sign but I can tell you they stand behind that sign, Jerry stayed with my problem and worked it out with the factory and never gave up trying to solve the problem. I bought a used Sportster 1200S a few months ago and then turned around and traded it for a new 2006 Softail Standard Black, upgraded the pipes to Python staggered duals. I could not be happier. Everyone I encountered was very helpful and without attitude. I have been in and out of a lot of dealers through the years and have always left feeling like I was an outsider or like I had 2 heads or something. No one at Hannum's treated me that way. Including Salesman Parts and Service. I was made to feel like family. My experience with this dealer was exceptional. Especially Paul Baum. I took a long time deciding what I wanted and I asked a lot of questions. Paul was very patient and helped me with every aspect of my decision and purchase. He did not pretend to know everything and when he didn’t know the answer to my questions he researched or asked someone else. This is something very important to me. I hate to be bull shitted and I really hate dealing with salesman but Paul seemed to understand how much to push and how much to back off.
